The Consumption and Treatment service is a health service that provides a safe and hygienic environment where people bringing pre-obtained drugs can pop, snort or inject drugs under the supervision of medical staff. Staff does not supply drugs.
Ottawa Inner City Health works with many service providers across Ottawa to provide programming for people who are chronically homeless or living with addiction. This includes harm reduction programs such as management of alcohol, managed opiate program and operate a supervised consumption site.
Montfort Renaissance provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services through the Service Access to Recovery program and the Ottawa Withdrawal Management Centre.
Recovery Care (formerly Recovery Ottawa) offers harm reduction programs and provides methadone, suboxone and sublocade treatment programs across the city.
Ottawa Area Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous is based out of the Bronson Centre and provides both in-person and virtual meetings across the city.
